Tim Grant is the Head Women’s Rowing Coach at North Park University Chicago, an NCAA Division III varsity program. Now in his seventh year, Coach Tim built the North Park rowing program from the ground up. Women’s rowing at North Park currently has the largest roster in women’s athletics and consistently boasts victories both regionally and nationally.
In their first seven years as a varsity sport, Grant has led North Park Rowers to three Dad Vail National Regatta medals, a 2nd place regional ranking in the Mid Atlantic Region, and within votes of national ranking in the varsity 8 (spring 2006).
Viking rowers have made an impact both on the water and in the classroom as well. In seven years as a varsity sport, the women's rowing program has had 13 CRCA Academic All-Americans, and has had 9 athletes named Mid Atlantic All-Region Conference Athletes.
Grant has been involved in rowing for over twenty years, and he is a past head coach and assistant coach at Loyola Academy Rowing Associations in Wilmette, Illinois. Grant’s other coaching experience includes the University of Chicago, St. Norbert College, the Lincoln Park Boat Club and the Dammrich Rowing Center.
