Citation Help

Need help building a works cited page or a bibliography?  Check out our Chicago, MLA, and APA citation style guides!  Or check the NPU Writing Center for more help.

Finding Books

To begin with, search the NPU catalog.  (For help in searching the NPU catalog, click here.)  Once you have found information about the item you'd like to use, find it in the library:

  • On the first floor (which has mainly journals, magazines, and reference books such as dictionaries and encylopedias).
  • On the second floor (which has books anyone can check out, a curriculum center, and a computer lab)
  • On the third floor (which has books anyone can check out, including our theology section)
  • On the lower level, which houses our archives and DVDs and CDs which anyone can check out.

If you'd like to see more specific information about finding a book in your subject area, try our subject guides.

If the Brandel Library doesn't have the books that you want, search I-Share to see which other libraries might have them.  Make sure that when you request these books, you use your library borrower ID (beginning with 2701200) in the form provided.  Want some help requesting a book?  Check our online guide.
