Sohlberg Hall

Sohlberg Hall is conveniently located on the northwest side of North Park University's campus, near the library. There are three floors of living space and a basement. Recent remodeling has upgraded many features of Sohlberg for its residents, as well as the exterior landscaping of the building. University Ministries and the Office of Distributed Learning are both located in the Sohlberg basement, along with a large lounge area for student use. Sohlberg is an all male residence hall and houses many of North Park's athletes.

Lobby and Common Areas

  • The building and all rooms are accessed using electronic locks which require student IDs to gain access.
  • The entry desk is staffed 24 hours a day for added security.
  • The main floor lounge offers tables and upholstered chairs for hanging out and studying. Doors at the back of the lounge open to a large outside patio.
  • Adjacent to the main lounge is a computer room with six stations and one printer.
  • A main-floor community kitchen is home to vending machines, cabinet storage, refrigerator, and stove.
  • The basement lounge at Sohlberg is equipped with comfortable seating, a flat screen television with DVD player and satellite television, a pool table, and vending machines.

Living Floors

  • Sohlberg's three floors house 105 men in 49 single, double, and triple rooms.
  • Each floor has two bathrooms.
  • Laundry facilities are located on each floor, with two washers and two dryers each (paid with quarters).
