Implementing Accommodations

In order to receive accommodations, you must meet once each semester with the Learning Specialist to sign a contract for accommodations and discuss specific needs for each course.

Letters of Notification for your professors will be generated during this meeting for distribution based off of your official documentation.

Personally deliver the letters to each professor during their office hours or a scheduled appointment to discuss your needs confidentially.

Authorized accommodations should be requested from the professor at least two weeks prior to expecting any to be provided.

If you have initial concerns about an accommodations, first discuss them with your professor.  If the problem is still unresolved, then seek the assistance of the Academic Services Learning Specialist.
