Ohlson House
Ohlson House is not just another hall, it's a house! Ohlson House got its unique name because it was renovated from an apartment complex into a residence hall. No two rooms are exactly alike in Ohlson House. With rooms separated by winding hallways, privacy is a given. Yet there is still a strong sense of community in the hall. Ohlson House has lounges on every floor that allow both sides of the building to meet together and socialize. Ohlson House has a full kitchen and a "P.J." lounge equipped with a piano, TV, DVD and VCR.
Ohlson House is an all-woman residence hall housing a capacity of 136 women. It has three floors with 24 rooms per floor. Rooms range in size from doubles and triples and even some singles. Three resident assistants and one resident director staff the building.
Ohlson House also has a 24 hour desk service. With this service, Ohlson House is able to provide its students with valuable services to the residents, including kitchenware, cookware, utensils, and the Chicago Tribune daily.
