When I met the Lord in 1982 at the age of 20, I began to learn that He had been preparing me for ministry. It seems the Lord has confirmed this leading with the Presidential Scholarship; my wife and I anticipate much fruitful ministry at North Park Theological Seminary and for years to come in the Evangelical Covenant Church.

It is both an honor and an encouragement to receive the Presidential Scholarship. Desiring to study to serve the greater Church has largely been made possible by the generosity of these full tuition scholarships. As we strive to live lives worthy of the calling we have received as Christians, so too do we strive to prepare for lives worthy of these scholarships.
