Seminary always seemed like an unattainable goal, but thanks to the financial support offered by the Presidential Scholarship, I have been able to continue studying God’s word and concentrate on future ministry decisions rather than financial ones. It allows me to continue to search for how I am to be a part bringing God's kingdom down on earth as it is in heaven. Thank you!

I knew that I was called to ministry after finishing my undergraduate studies, and was convinced that seminary was a necessary step. I did not know how it would be financially feasible until I was blessed with the Presidential Scholarship. I look forward to my time and ministry at North Park Theological Seminary!

I grew up in the Evangelical Covenant Church. Recently God called me to go into full-time ministry. My family and I were excited about the call, but had no idea how it would be possible. The Presidential Scholarship has allowed us to pursue God’s call and we are extremely grateful.

Through various circumstances, times in prayer, and the confirmation of friends, I could not steer clear of the fact that God has given me a heart to study His Word. I am grateful for the Presidential Scholarship, because it enables me to refine my gifts and skills as I seek to communicate the message of the cross with the world around me.

After fifteen years of leadership as a worship pastor, I realized that God was calling me to an increased level of spiritual leadership. Receiving North Park Theological Seminary’s Presidential Scholarship provided the impetus I needed to make the difficult decision to uproot my family and return to full-time seminary studies.

Jeremy Wright - First Covenant Church - Salina, Kansas Jeremy Wright - First Covenant Church - Salina, Kansas

The Presidential Scholarship has taken the pressure off of our financial obligation through this endeavor and helped my wife see that a career in ministry is where God is leading us. For me, I think it showed me that I should be using the abilities, intellect, and desire to be the best for the One from which they come.
