Making Connections to North Park University Ministries

North Park Theological Seminary's Making Connections Initiative Grant, funded by the Lilly Endowment, provides significant funding to University Ministries, the on-campus ministry for the North Park University community. These funds pay Seminary student interns and offset student and advisor costs for Global Partnership trips. Leaders trained in the Seminary's Center for Spiritual Direction make spiritual direction available to undergrad students through the grant.

Seminary students serve in UMIN programs as interns, small group leaders and advisors on UMIN Global Partnership trips, domestically and abroad. UMIN's programs are primarily geared to undergrad students, but Seminary students, faculty and staff often participate in CollegeLife (on Sunday evenings), Wednesday Campus Chapel services, and special lectures and concerts offered by University Ministries.
