External Funding Protocol for Corporations and Foundations

The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations (OCFR) develops relationships with external organizations in order to secure financial support for institutional initiatives and individual research projects in support of North Park University's mission and priorities. These organizations include private foundations, corporate giving programs, and government agencies.

Our office is available to assist faculty members in identifying funding opportunities, discussing proposal ideas, reviewing proposal drafts, and assisting in the submission process of foundation and corporate proposals. We also identify funding sources and develop proposals for institutional initiatives.

Faculty members seeking funding from foundations and corporate giving programs are required to submit a signed External Funding Request Form to the Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations before a proposal request may be submitted. The individual faculty member is responsible for obtaining the appropriate signatures and completing the funding request form.

Proposals should be submitted at least ten to fifteen working days before the required deadline in order to facilitate the final review process and to insure that institutional, as well as funding, requirements are met.
